Microsoft SQL Server
When I took my first SQL course, in 2005, I started developing with Microsoft SQL Server. I'm proficient at query tuning and adding indexes when necessary. Most of the applications I've built and maintained rely largely on SQL Server. Some migration projects include:
- ORACLE application queries converted to T-SQL in SSRS reports
- HTML content in SQL Server converted to PDFs in AWS S3
MySQL
Early in my career as an implementation specialist at Kaplan, I supported and made specialized reports for B2B clients using MySQL, ORACLE and SQL Server. As a software engineer, I've supported database transactions that synchronize data from SQL Server to MySQL, read queries and stored procedure calls, made by .Net applications.
PostgresSQL
I've converted a Trac Wiki that used PostgresSQL for persistence to GitHub Markdown. I also supported applications that saved and read error logs in PostgresSQL.

Languages
I've been developing with .Net since 2003, when I first experimented with VB.NET converting a VB6 WinForms Connect 4 game I made in a high school programming course. My professional experience is in C# which I have been working with since 2010 writing console apps, ASP.NET applications and APIs as well as some AspNetCore projects

Microsoft Visual Studio
I've been developing using Microsoft Visual Studio since I took a programming course in VB6 in high school. I try to leverage some of the features that make things quicker in Visual Studio. One of my favorite features is the latest version of multiple cursors which now comes close to supporting as many features as a single cursor does. I contributed to a Visual Studio Extension called SelectNextOccurance allowing support for multiple cursors before this was built in.
